Charming and clean place to stay in, it has amazing and fantastic staff at how sexist two of the male receptionist were. The location is unbeatable and super and they have parking across the road. You could walk to a supermarket and stores.

I liked the location of the Kolbe Hotel, and how close it was to the Roman Forum, and I also liked how helpful Michael the duty manager was.

The hotel in general was very pleasant to stay in, with a nice terrace and garden at the back. Situated right next to the Capitoline and Palatine hills, just under the Tarpeian Rock and above the Roman Forum, it is in a wonderful location for seeing the sights of Ancient Rome, and only a short stroll away from numerous tourist and municipal bus-stops at the Bocca della Verita to venture further afield. We had a split-level family room which was well-appointed. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were also of a good standard, and the service efficient and friendly.

On our last day, after checking out, we found the lobby and restaurant were closed for a wedding reception, thus limiting our options (it was raining and our flight was not until the evening). We were however directed to a small pizzeria around the corner, which was fine for passing the time.

An Really good Stay with Lovely Views

Our family spent four nights here, enjoying the gorgeous terrace at sunset and the peaceful internal garden. The staff's attentiveness, especially during breakfast. Don't miss the local specialties! A perfect base for exploring Rome's ancient wonders with the kids.

Brilliant hotel with good wi-fi, the location was SUPER to most tourist destinations. Location: the property was just next door to Spanish Steps, and Trevi fountain, the Colosseum and Forum, also Piazza Venezia and Colosseum and other major tourist sites.

The garden was great for the kids to have a run around whilst their parents relaxed with their aperitifs!
